You can tell it is a RGUNS sniper by looking at the second photo. See the small RGUNS dot matrix import marks on the top center of the receiver. That is the only place RGUNS marked their snipers. Everything else is marked on the side (like normal), and they use a very small font.

They don't have to but they are too lazy to sit down and try to figure out if it is or not. So they just treat it like the rest. If people did buy they from them, then they would change, but they have no reason to. I was in England about 18 or 20 years ago and went into a "Arms and Armour"...

Those old pumps can make a noise when you rack a round in them that is totally unmistakable to a burglar! ;)

Refinish....no, I don' refinish milsurplus rifles. I'll clean them up and take off the rust, but refinishing them ruins the rifle. It's collector value diminishes dramatically. And the histoory is gone permanetly. My T53 is just fine. I have a dozen or so Mosin carbines, I don't need anymore! ;) Dolk

Mine came from Omega Weapon Systems originally. The guy that bought it hated it and didn't know what to do with it because it was so bad. All Omega's T53 are like that (mostly). He used to sell them for $40 at first, but now has them for much more...maybe twice as much or more.

We used to have a few really nice Mosins at our local show in Vallejo.....then I bought them and now we have nothing! :D Really, the local shows have very little and if it weren't for camera, knifes and jerky, there would be only 1/2 of the tables! (well, it feels like that anyways). Good show comin...

That's a good price, I've been watching them and they are hardly ever "matching". Most of them have been reworked many times and never match.
