I don't know Russian. All I know is, when I unpacked my M44 from AIM Surplus, this manual was with the rifle.BuckeyeSgt wrote:These are for the newly built KO-44 Molot hunting carbine. Just to clarify.

I think my license took 4-5 weeks.qz2026 wrote:Nice
I was thinking of one of the M-44's as well when my C&R comes. Yeah, yeah, yeah - ATF cashed my check the other day only after a week. Probably doesn't mean much but hopeful of receiving it shortly. I know, I'm too optimistic.

Re: Latest acquisition with new C&R license
So Molot is selling M44s now. Was the bayonet unattached like AIM's ad stated? Yes, the bayonet was unattached. By the way, if you get one that is unattached, you have to unscrew the screw in the bayonet's hinged base in order to mount it on gun. This was my first experience, and when I pulled out ...

Latest acquisition with new C&R license
The brown truck of happiness delivered my third Mosin today, my first m44. It came from AIM Surplus here in Ohio. $189.95. It's the first gun I've bought using my new C&R license, which arrived about 10 days ago. The bore is clean and shiny with strong rifling. Has not been counterbored. Mosin p...

Re: Lot of words stamped on this receiver
Have you taken it apart to clean it yet? You might find more cool markings along with stamps in wood stock. Don,t forget to check head space before you shoot it to be safe. They don't cost much. :welcome: JGC First I've heard of this. Is this something most people do? I see a NO-GO gauge costs $23 ...

Lot of words stamped on this receiver
Can anyone decipher the words and symbols on this receiver? I get that it was manufactured in 1925, I know that CCCP means USSR, and I think the star means it was made in Tula. What about the rest? Thanks. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m590/sharpenit/Mosinstampings.jpg [img]http://i1133.photob...
