Re: My first post and of course it "Is my gun authentic?"

The parts are all legit. The barrel shank appears to have been scrubbed where the scope s/n usually goes. The scope mount ep'ing looks good and the bolt looks ok. Now that said some may question if this is a ex-sniper that was resnipered due to the lack of the scope number being reapplied. But it is...

Breda M1D 308 sniper

When a couple of these came up on G-Broker about 8 months ago I was hoping more would come available so when some showed up @ Palmetto State Armory about 2 weeks ago I plopped down some coin and purchased one. Early reports where mostly good but there where a couple of duds also delivered to a few c...

Update; Now I have seen it on a much larger screen and it is all good sir.

Re: PU Sniper Going Rate?

Yep, thats what I meant, CAI put together, the other one might be legit, but i dont even bother looking at that sellers stuff with his past track record. There are 4 or 5 sellers on Gbroker that could be selling a legit sniper and I wont know because I ignore there listings. Gotcha, so generally it...

Re: PU Sniper Going Rate?

One fake sniper on GB going for $1,600 One for $3,699.99 that the mount seems questionable I didn't see the one with the SA marks on it, but, that would be one of the rarest PU snipers if it was really a Finn capture. There are maybe as many Finn captures as I have fingers on one hand. Most are goi...

Somehow, without even having had a drink, I got a double tap on my post and it posted twice, which I didn't think was possible with the software used here.

Attn Garand fans, a chance to own a rare one.

A couple of these hit the auction sights about 8 months ago and it is my understanding about 150 of these where to be imported. And while not cheap they are not out of line with CMP M1D's. https://palmettostatearmory.com/italian-breda-m1-garand-with-m84-scope-and-crate-very-good-surplus-condition-br...

Congrats sir, nice looking PU, i found with mine that 147gr Czech Siver tip LB ammo is great stuff out to 500yds, beyond that PPU 182gr match ammo from 600 yds and out.

Re: Izhevsk 1943 PU, polish rework scope, no import mark, put together?

Sorry it took so long to get back to you Rtop01, I have look over the pics and I can say that I am about 80% convinced at this point it is a Polish refurbed PU sniper. The finish looks Polish, the bluing is better than 1943 Russian, the rear sight is in the white, and the scope is a Polish refurb. I...
