Is this a correct MO stock?
Bought this consignment at a good price from a local dealer. I have seen stocks on the refurbished MO rifles in the red stained shellac finish. I read where the MO rifles were given a complete refurbish, and I was hopping that the finish and color of this refurb stock is correct or if the previous o...

Re: Tula 1933 Serial Number 1
When I ordered them about five years ago, a guy handled the orders. Was great! All were un-issued pre-1898 recievers, so they UPSed to the front door. They were 350-360 then. Two were 1970 so called "sneaks." Still have the website advertisements and photos and shipping papers. Those photo...

Re: Tula 1933 Serial Number 1
Well, I may have made a mistake. It is the OM1 1931 Tula that has been mentioned on several sites. Time will tell if it is important or not. I bought a Soviet SKS from Centerfire Systems back in the early 90s. Called and ask the guy if he would pick one out. He said sure, got a few in the back room....

Zastava PAP Magazines
Bought one of the single stack PAP 7.62x39 rifles from a local dealer. Imported by EAA. I can't find any extra magazines for this rifle. Contacted EAA. They don't have any. Century is now importing them. Contacted Century, they don't have any. I don't want to convert it to high-cap. Does anyone know...

Liberty Arms "Superior Grade" rifle?
I picked up two of these the other day at a dealer. Got them home and looked them over. One was Izhevsk 1940 matching with letters matching also, no line outs, and another Izhevsk 43, all matching, just the numbers on parts other than receiver. I have others MNs, the stock seems to be less sanded an...

Need a Little History
Like you, I've run into those 1943 Izzys that are rough finished. I know the Soviets were hard pressed in '43 and were just trying to get men armed. But I wonder, how bad was it? How many rifles had been captured by the Germans? We see pictures of stacked German arms. Are there any photos of stacked...
