What is the going rate of 91/30’s and T-53’s?
I’ve been out of the Mosin Game for a while and I’d love to start collecting them again. Between building up my domestic military rifle collection and other random firearms I have traded off my old Mosin’s, I was wondering what the going rate for Mosin Nagants in the southeast United States is going...

Anybody ever had experience with one of these?
I took a chance the other day and ordered a “rusty” sling from liberty tree with hopes that I can clean it up and breath new life into it and use it on my Garand, has anybody ever had good luck cleaning one up before?

Re: I'm back and in the market for a M91
Trust me, I've searched every shop and gun show within a 50 mile radius and keep coming up empty. Hell, just finding 54r is getting rough around these parts haha.

I'm back and in the market for a M91
Hey guys! I'm looking for the best place to find a M91 to add to my collection, I'd prefer not to use an auction site if at all possible. And it doesn't matter to me if its Finnish capture or not. Any ideas?

There's a m39 near me for sale, the guy wants $290 for it. It's not an auction site so here's the link http://www.gunownersclub.com/listings/f ... 64934.html around here we have this site where it's a classified ad page for guns.

Re: Ok food for thought
Be careful with cleaning wood. If you think it works great for shellac and try it on a Finn stock, you may e degrease the stock and concurrently take all the original finish off, greatly knocking down the value. Don't ask me how I know. That's why I now clean with paper towels and cotton rags only....

Re: I'm hopefully getting a garand
You have done all your homework here and you know exactly what you are buying? For instance, you know what a reweld is? A deep stamp Blue Sky import mark? You have gauged the bore? No it's not a reweld,i ran the serial number and it's WWII range,he also has cmp paperwork from the late 80's, he want...

I'm hopefully getting a garand
This is a WWII era garand that is almost mint. The guy is really hard pressed for cash,so I figured that I'd be a Good Samaritan and take the burden off his hands. I just hope he calls me sometime soon,he said he'll have to think about it.
