Re: A Small Collection of Colts in the UK.

I really like your automatic. Which one I'm guessing the 1911 in 9mm, It was not that expensive as prices go in the UK. We tend to have higher prices as there less demand for firearms only a small number of people own guns here compared to the population. The press over the years have turned the pub...

Re: Glock 17 Range Day

Nice we have a Glock 19 ex British Army SAS/SBS trials before it was adopted by the MOD as well as the 17 to replace the High Power. Yes it's live and we are in the UK it's classed as a Historic pistol as only 10 were supplied for the trials therefore it's rare and allowed to be kept as part of a co...

Re: Polish Oil & Solvent Bottles

That is the 1940 collection, Tula and Izhevsk 91/30 rifles, M38, and M91/59. The Soviet flag, watch, and medals are the real thing, collected up just after 1992 when they had little value and were not yet being reproduced. When the USSR closed for business all their relics ended up in the national ...

Re: I love doing trades.

Hello Tomaustin, Yes the NRA ranges at Bisley are excellent for all distances of shooting. 8-) gun restrictions: It's Ok we have other restrictions in life at the moment which are life & death so not being able to shoot a certain type of firearm is not really a problem. So we enjoy shooting what...

Number of people attending varies month to month.

Separate ranges for pistol 25yds max & for rifle out to from 25 to 1200yds.

Non competitive as my shooting buddy is my wife and she is better than me anyway.

Re: I love doing trades.

Hi Tom, I will try to expand the way things work for you. Handguns in general are banned in the mainland of the UK apart from muzzle loaders as stated above. So to the firearms I have in my collection, they cant be kept at home so need to be stored at a secure armoury in my case the NRA at Bisley, t...
