Re: 1944 PU sniper just done the deal
Glad you got to look over it.
Looks good, and I would say nobody has sanded the wood recently seeing the wear and tear to the wood, (scratches) makes it look interesting..
When do you get to take it to the range. (got your cert back yet?)

Re: 1944 PU sniper just done the deal
Hi svdsniper.. Ah South Coast, I'm in the South East not far from London... When I got my first M/N with the German proofs I did some research and found mid 1990's a former state of Russia started selling Mosins to German dealers. These rifles were then proofed (European Law in some Countries) and s...

I have looked at the pictures, and I see West German proof marks 2xstamps one looks like a shield with 3KK (meaning March 1999) German proof. I have 2 M/N's with similar marks. Re: Misc pics/ 1903 Springfield
Hi JYD.
Thats just for the 1903 Mk1 rifle, we are not allowed big semi auto stuff
Seems alot of weight to ask one man to carry..
Ps I'd rather have a Bren .303![Drool1 :Drool1:](./images/smilies/Drool_1.gif)

Re: 1903 A3 Did I do ok?
A Question or three if I may: Since getting the A3 I have looked at many pictures, done some reading up on them. I have noticed that almost all have 2 cross bolts through the wood under the receiver, at each end, where as mine just has 2 thin metal pins. Why? Were the cross bolts a refurb addition.?...

Martin can you point out where exactly you need a picture of the front of the spring slot for me please, or should I remove the spring and take a picture.
