I never saw anything like this. Who did it, Finns?Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 4:47 pm The cut made so the rear sight clears the barrel? That's common because the sight does tend to hit there on most of these M91's.

I also found example of round mark on wood stock. Looks like it's Châtellerault mark . Here to compare.

Hi, I got new gun and trying to put together what i got. Definitely, this stock is not original for this gun. The barrel marked1917 Sestroretsk and stock looks like 1895. It has multiple marks on it. One of them looks like original tula with date 1895. However, I don't see hammer there. I see hammer...

Re: Tokarev question
Thank you Advertised on a private sales forum in Arizona. A Chinese manufactured gun can be purchased here in the used market place for $400.00 an example of something similar in our regional market. Modified Romanian Tokarev goes from $400 to $500. Modified russian Tokarev in good condition with m...

Tokarev question
Hi, I have russian Tokarev 1938. It's in poor condition and completely mismatched . I got another one, much nicer condition, and after I will receive it I would like to sell my old one. However I cannot properly price it. I see that the price range for those guns between $800 and $2000. I would be r...

Mauser type front band
Hi. I have short question. I saw m91/30 with a Mauser type front band. It's mid 30 made gun. Is it somebody's bad rework or was done (or fixed) on factory/arsenal? I found a couple pictures online, but nothing explains how and who did it. Thank you.

Re: Help needed
That is was a full length m91 infantry rifle, not a dragoon, that was shortened to 91/30 length and had the rear sight welded on. There should be a seam and spot welds at the muzzle end where they made a sleeve with the original front sight base on it and slid it over the shorter barrel. Not a bubb...

Re: Help needed
Guys, I also have another question for you. I got an ex-dragoon which have rear site welded to the barrel. Is it bubba's work or arsenal done? If it is bubba's, then I'll fix it. But if it's arsenal, then I'll keep it as is. Thank you in advance,

Re: Dragoons
These are really nice rifles. I tried to find one but usually they are overpriced or condition is not good/wrong(trashed, mismatched, stock from m91/30 etc)

Re: Help needed
Darryl, thank you , I think i will follow your advice. Willyj73, I will try to get a picture today. I trust the guy who offers me this scope, he is not trying to screw me. He paid almost the same as he offers me. Even I decided not to do conversion for a sniper rifle, I probably still will buy the s...
