Re: What was the Russian Plan?

Also, keep in mind, I seriously doubt that if a war was eminent and the Mosins were brought out of mothballs that they would be as concerned with getting them to collectors quality. I am sure they would be cleaning up the metal making them safe to fire, and just get the wood serviceable.

Re: Finn Trigger

I haven't gotten rid of any rifles in a while. My collection is quite small, but I have most of what I want. there are a few items I want to get, but am in no hurry. Funny thing is, I have sold a few of my rifles and if push came to shove, I could part with a few more. The Mosin, however, will never...

Finn Trigger

Howdy strangers. After a long hiatus milsurps (specifically Mosins) I have finally been able to start indulging again. Probably five or six years ago, I bought a Finn trigger from someone for my '43 ex-sniper. I got the rifle from Aztec way back, and since it shoots really well, I would give it a tr...

Reloading... Is It For Me?

I have considered reloading for some time now. I am not looking to save a bunch of money by rolling my own, but some calibers are just hard to find at a reasonable price these days. I ended up selling some of my rifles because ammo is too hard to find. If the price comes out the same to make my own ...

Re: About the rules....

I agree on the approach of rational suggestions to potential rifle modifiers. Slamming them first thing gets nowhere. On the other hand, if they persist, then a gentle "you may want to find another place to hang out," or "in the interest of peaceful relations, let's not bring it up ag...
