Norinco NHM 91

My grandson has a Norinco NHM 91 that he won in some kind of a drawing and is looking to sell it, it came with a 600 round can of ammo a 35 round magazine and a drum magazine.. I am not familiar with this weapon at all but it looks like an AK 47. I told him I would do whatever I could do to help him...

Re: 20 rd plastic Magazine in SKS

I really don't get the concept of a 20 round magazine in an SKS... Doesn't matter much. $850 is highway robbery... even if it was a Russian... I suppose that in some states this magazine would be illegal and in other not so much... I'm pretty sure it would be legal in Michigan but not to hunt with....

Re: 20 rd plastic Magazine in SKS

I like the one I have now that I got the new used gas tube and rod in her. steelbutplate mentioned in my other that maybe the keeper latch that holds the tube and rod in wasn't fully engaged I am thinking the same thing, the latch moves without a lot of resistance or maybe it wasn't fully engaged. A...

20 rd plastic Magazine in SKS

I was at a gun show last week. There was a guy selling an SKS with a plastic 20 round magazine in it, he said that you don't have to alter the gun you just remove the original and the plastic one snaps right in. He was asking $850.00 for the gun and he had the original magazine to go with it. $850 i...

Re: SKS Hand Guars, gas tube and rod flew of at the range

I wonder if the takedown latch by the rear sight maybe wasn't fully in the notch and the recoil unlocked it. :bonk: I am thinking the same thing, the latch moves without a lot of resistance or maybe it wasn't fully engaged. The small rod that the gas rid pushes on to push the charging handle the bo...

SKS Hand Guars, gas tube and rod flew of at the range

I haven't been on here in awhile but I hope to get back pretty regularly again, like me my laptop is getting old and slow. Here is a problem I had yesterday at the range with my Norinco SKS I have had it at the range in the past and have probably put 500 or 600 hundred rounds down range over time. I...

Re: Re: Ruger LCP II 380.

Thanks all. I picked one up today. I think it will work out fine for my needs. The little pocket holster works just fine.
Gun, extra magazine and a box of 50 range rounds, out the door $315.00. Now I need to get to the range with it.

Re: Ruger LCP II 380.

I am looking at a little Ruger LCP II 380 for my carry gun. I have read some reviews and it sounds like a good little gun for the price. I know there are some better and more expensive little 380's out there but, I am not looking to spend a lot on one if this Ruger is as good as they say it is. So m...

That is a shame. What the hell was he thinking? It looks like to me that he just wanted to render it useless.

Re: Argentine mauser

I have a 1891 Carbine that Bubba got his hands on. Great little Dear Rifle tho. Nothing I can do to bring it back to original original so I just use it as is. I think it is the most accurate little Military Surplus rifle I own. I truly love this thing.

One thing I always remember about the pump .22 rifles is that they were always used at the shooting galleys on the board walk.

M1 Garand

What are M1 Garands going for now. I know of one that is in great original stock etc. It has NM sights and NM operating rod . It has been glass bedded and was a Shooting match award. He is asking $1,400.00 The bore is bright, there is no rust anywhere and it is overall very clean. What do y'all thin...
